Why should I market to my customers?
For most local businesses, the majority of revenue comes from their repeat customers. But your customers are also being marketed to by both your local competitors and the newer national competitors. It is 7x less expensive to keep a customer than to acquire a new one. Marketing to your customers keeps your business top-of-mind and brings customers back sooner.

How does Customer Lobby decide which customers to target?
We created a complex algorithm that analyzes your customer data all the way down to an individual customer level. We use a variety of data sources and methods to clean and analyze your data to get a clear understanding of your customer base. We create and rank the probability that a particular customer will do business with you in the next 90 days. Based in part on that ranking and the likely amount they will spend with you if they come back, we determine which of your customers can be profitably marketed to. We then automatically reach out to those customers based on the budget you approved. Because we are integrated with your billing system, we automatically monitor your customer activity over the next 90 days to see which of the individuals we targeted actually did business.

Why do you use postcards and not just emails?
We send a postcard and then, a few days later, a reminder email to your targeted customers.
While emails are less expensive than postcards:
-
Most local businesses have email addresses for less than 50% of their customers;
-
Commercial emails have an average open rate of less than 20%.
That means that if you want to send a message that will be seen by more than 10% of your target audience, postcards are the most cost effective way to do it.
