This is going to be a bit long- but I have to do justice to all of the excellent customer service I received: I contacted Tier 1 as they were the contractor listed for my unit when it was built in 2010. It was mid-day Friday and I explained my a/c was out and I had tried the fuse, but the exterior unit wasn't creating cold air. Bridget (hopefully I'm spelling her name correctly) apologized and then apologized some more as she had no one else who could come out that day, unless I used the oncall night/weekend system. She put me in the first available slot Monday morning and I let her know I would call the oncall if the weekend got to be too much. Let me explain that I work days and constantly in meetings, while my boyfriend works nights. Bridget went and spoke to her manager and she called me back several times to let me know the oncall would be expecting me and his name and he would be coming out. I just did not expect someone to go above and beyond and find a way to take care of me when they were well within their rights of a schedule. Tyler and I did speak on Friday evening and he let me know he would find a way to work me in on Saturday if I had availability. I was at his mercy and he was just so nice about it! He came out and was terribly professional, neat, and quick. Now comes the true testimonial. He had to deliver bad news. My compressor needed to be replaced and OF COURSE the warranty was done. If you've never had your compressor replaced... Google the prices on that. There is a reason people sometimes just replace the whole unit depending on the age of the system. Anyway, he was as nice as could be and let me know he'd see if they had it available or would order it quickly, and they'd contact me to get everything working as quickly as possible. I was hoping Tuesday... Wednesday at the latest. Fingers crossed. Again, they were fabulous. They contacted me early today (Monday) and let me know they could take care of it today if I happened to be available. Um. Yes, I think I can make myself available for the people who are going to make my townhome not 90 degrees of stagnant heat. Tyler came back out and I am blissfully sitting in air conditioning again. I am so blown away by the attention to detail and customer service. I recommend Tier 1 highly and will use them whenever I find myself in need in the future. Thank you to everyone there... you all have made one incredibly happy and "cool" customer!
