on the coldest day of this past winter - 4 degrees - the thermostat shorted out at about 9:00 on a saturday night and by 11:00 it was about 50 degrees in the house. i called for service and the service rep showed up at 3:00am (i was given this time frame re his arrival) on sunday and swapped thermostats to solve the problem. a real lifesaver as the temp was dropping by the minute. thank you, robison.
