Furniture Damaged and Pain in the Neck
We moved from Castle Rock to Littleton using Christian Brothers Moving. I had arranged to pay for the move via credit card as an exception to the company's policy of requiring a cashiers check. At 3 pm the day before the move Christian Brothers called me to renege on that accommodation, requiring me to drop everything so I could get to the bank to get a cashiers check immediately.
The proposal for the move included moving blankets at no cost, but when the movers came they had no blankets to protect the furniture, using plastic wrap instead. The foreseeable result was significant damage to the furniture, for which the company would only pay six cents per pound, far less than the cost to repair.
The movers came with no tools to disassemble or reassemble the furniture.
I will avoid this company in the future and recommend that you do the same.
