I went to the Dr Brooks with a dry eye condition. Blood shot painful eyes that drops did no relieve the discomfort. My optometrist suggested I see an ophthalmologist and upon recommendation I went to Richmond Eye. Mistake! I was old to correct my problem I could have cataract surgery to enhance the flow of liquid around my eye ball and eliminate the dry scratchy, red watery eyes. Mistake no. 2. I had the surgery and my care after surgery was poor at best. They phoned in meds for my post op and neglected to phone in the pain reducing drug, I was in sever pain when I went for my post op examine-
After 5 weeks of discomfort Ii went to another doctor who said cataract surgery would and will not cure you problem with clogged oil glands ( dysfunction meibomian glands) around you lids! No Surgery was needed and we are not doing surgery on your other eye until you positively need it Your previous surgery procedure looks fine sorry you did not need this surgery. Sorry for 5 weeks and counting of discomfort. Why would you not trust a doctor to give you a good medical opinion?
