I'm sorry you are viewing our work and efforts as "fair". This was not a simple toilet replacement due to your bathroom having a piece of baseboard heating located behind the toilet, and the rough in flange being 10" , the standard being 12". The baseboard placement behind a toilet is very unusual. Though your old toilet fit, the new style toilets are designed differently and standard size toilets will not fit with the baseboard. In effort to save you money in relocating the baseboard we searched for a toilet that came in a 10" rough (about 90% of toilets come in 12" so there is not a big selection) and was designed in such a way that the bowl did not hit the baseboard. The time spent locating and reviewing specs for a toilet that would fit was not time billed to you. In reviewing your invoice for the toilet replacement dated 11/8/19 I'm seeing you were charged for 2.5 hours of labor, only once. So I'm not understanding your statement of "it took them a day and a half to install one toilet and was billed accordingly"? Your previous invoice dated 10/30/19 was for other services provided and had no charges regarding the toilet replacement. I do agree that your toilet replacement was an "ordeal" but due to the construction anomaly of your house, not our service or work.
