Car Shield did not stand behind my problem. About two years into my warranty my truck started making some engine noise. When I brought it in to the mechanic they said that two of the cylinders were bad and would have to get a complete rebuild. I thought this would be OK because of my Car Shield extended warranty. They had the mechanic take a sample of the oil and when they tested it they said there was silicone in it??? I have asked Mechanics how this would happen and no one seems to know. But because of that they paid -$0.00- on my $7000 engine rebuild. I even asked them how this could happen and the customer service was terrible and just said they would not pay one penny. So besides paying for the extended warranty from Car Shield I also had to pay for the engine rebuild. I keep seeing the commercials on TV advertising real heavy again. It $@!#% me off enough that I am writing this review.
