I was a member for about three years. Until…. in July I had a clogged bathtub and requested they come out and service my water heater and identify what the problem with the tub was. Hector was sent out and while he sent a camera down my overflow pipe, his camera broke off inside the pipe. He quoted me $800.00 dollars to dig up the pipe and get his camera out. I declined as I wanted a second opinion in my pipes and that his camera fell off was not my responsibility. He said he was not allowed to leave without it. He ended up digging up the pipe to get his camera out anyways. When I signed paperwork for the day, I was told this was for his visit out - not to pay the $800.00 that I had already declined. As he left, he informed me I would need to pay 19,000 dollars total to fix my clog. I had a second opinion come out, snake the pipe and leave with only $170 dollar bill. I have since declined to renew with Benjamin Franklin. I am now being sent to collections for the 600.00 bill. I have requested to speak with management and have yet to get a phone call.
I feel taken advantage from this company and do not recommend anyone use them.
