I've been working with BMC Mortgage and Investments on my mortgage for a while now and the individual I dealt with was alright. He was nice enough, but I felt that they weren't too open or up-front about how much they were charging for their service. I found their expenses extremely high. I thought that for a 50,000 dollar mortgage I might be paying $2-3000 a year for their services but the cost was well over 6000 a year.

I just wished they were more open and upfront. I felt like things could have been explained a little more clearly and in language that is easier to understand. If you work with them, be very sure what you're asking for and get everything out in the open to start with. They didn't tell me about the interest rate and nobody told me that a line of credit is classified as a mortgage to these people. The interest rate went from 8-12% all of a sudden and I kind of felt took. Now I'm going to try to get it paid off as fast as I can. You have to make sure you really know what's on the table. nobody told me line of credit is classified as a mortgage to these people.
