This camp ground is not what they claim it to be on the website. This place is ran down something terrible. Lets start first with the camp ground appearance…the few sites at the entrance seem fine, then you get going in a little more and it just is nasty. Restrooms and shower house are probably the worst. The thought of standing in them make me want to vomit. There are so many RV/Trailers completely packed in. So many of the trailers look old and abandoned.
Second topic, amenities/activities… They claim to have all these activities going on and things to do yet NOTHING is open or happening! There is absolutely nothing showing hours or days these amenities are open or activities are happening.
Lastly, Im not sure I feel 100 % safe in regards to my kids. We have preteens/teenagers here. I am not at all comfortable with them going to the restroom or showering (not doing cause they nasty). Most campgrounds I feel safe and I trust my kids to go and do but not here. I think it is all the ran down campers and junk setting around just give off that vibe.
I will give 2 compliments though…
One, they accommodate us with a site to fit what we had going on (their mistake) however it was supposed to be full hook up and we ended up on one that was not. The did tell us they would pump our tanks for the inconvenience and they did.
Two, it is a quiet campground for the most part.
I absolutely would never recommend this place to a friend.
