I was adamant that I wanted a tutor to come to my home and get me going on these keys. I'm a true beginner in that I played cello as a teen but never touched a piano or a keyboard in any serious manner. I didn't see how a newbie like me could be taught using a webcam but Kathy, being the awesome human she is, convinced me to give it a try and even offered to refund my money in full if I changed my mind.

My first class with Lilah I was hooked. Lilah is a pro who also learned under Kathy. Kathy said we would be a good match and it took me a bit to understand why but now I feel like Lilah is a friend ...well, a bad $@!#% friend who can kill it on the keyboard and not only can kill it but can teach as well as she plays.

Kathy's system is amazing. In the six months I've been tutoring with Kathy's system, I've gone from thinking there was no hope for my 41-year-old "too old to get get" self to having the confidence to play and practice every day and see how every single day I'm getting better and better.

I am not the best student but even not being the best, the technique is one of the best and so are the teachers and that is helping me get to where I never thought I'd be at this point!
