We hired a Melody trombone teacher, Matt Evans for about 2 years. He came to our house weekly for 45 minute long lessons. Our child learned a tremendous amount from Matt. Her musicality, sight reading, and overall tone improved tremendously.

Overall, the simplicity of the weekly charges/scheduling worked out well, but you do need to stay on top of it if you're going on a vacation, or need to stop and start frequently as they are sticklers for the advanced notice and can be charged for lessons that aren't rescheduled well in advance. But overall, it Matt is a treasure and would highly highly recommend him for any aspiring Trombone student.
