On November 14th we used ACC Medlink to move my father from a rehab facility in Michigan to one in Maryland, so we could provide better support for him. The team from ACC Medlink was fabulous, Mellissa handled the logistics on the front end, providing the quote, scheduling the pickup and the confirmation call – she was very responsive and easy to work with! The onboard nurse Kathy called us the day before to discuss any special needs that my dad may have and she made sure she had all the final details for the pickup. The team (Cory & Tyler and Kathy), arrived promptly at 7:00am and took great care in transporting my dad from his hospital bed to the gurney for transporting in the medical transport. There was plenty of room for my sister to accompany our dad the entire trip, Eight and half hours later they moved him into his room in the new rehab facility. This was a seamless transition for dad and I can’t thank the ACC Medlink team enough for the care and comfort they provided to dad and our entire family the entire trip!
