Will add stress to an already stressful situation.

First and foremost, I am grateful for this type of service. My mom needed an 8 hour transport due to a move from Illinois to Tennessee.

The sales or customer service upfront was amazing and very communicative. Explained all the services and followed up appropriately. By services I mean that meals are provided and snacks, entertainment etc.

Once booked the communication was spotty from the dispatcher, but great from the ground crew. I don't blame the dispatcher because our turn around was quick, meaning the order was secured late Monday afternoon and by 10 am the next day, Tuesday, I hadn't heard from anyone regarding departure, and the transport was scheduled for Wednesday. When I followed up they communicated an 8pm departure time Wednesday with arrival 7am Thursday morning. This wasn't ideal but we accepted knowing our limitations on flexibility.

On Wednesday the ground crew called bright and early and said they could leave earlier if we wanted....which we did. However, due to the short notice all the arrangements with the departure facility and receiving facility couldn't be completed. Then there was a lot of pointing fingers regarding whose fault it was and who we were waiting on. No team effort to coordinate or make things work between all the entities. I attribute this to Acc not really knowing how long the transport would take and this felt like more time was needed then necessary and this didn't allow our Drs to prepare appropriately.

We ended up with the original 8pm departure, and the ground crew did their job in getting from one place to another as quickly as possible. Just know if you think you are getting the snacks or meals with your price...if you are traveling at night ...that is limited to none. I think the meal was a cheeseburger and they didn't stop for snacks. I feel preplanning and having this available would be beneficial.

The ride was bumpy, and the crew arrived two hours early into Tennessee...which put everyone into urgent rush since the original communicated time was 7am. This goes back to the communication between the dispatcher and ground crew. May if the ride was a little slower ..it would have been less bumpy?

When I met the crew at the receiving facility, they were cordial but questions came in on why they couldn't leave earlier. Which was frustrating because it goes back to pointing fingers. We would have loved to have left earlier, but told by the dispatcher that we couldn't and then it didn't give our Drs time to get orders in.

They will try and upsell you in a bonus / luxury experience where the meal is more selective and you get wifi.

So did everything get done? Yes. Was it better then her riding in her own van? Yes. Do I wish a couple things could have been better? Yes.
