My father had a few things wrong with him in the hospital in Naples, and we just wanted him to get him back to Boston where he's from. He had something which mimicked a stroke, so the Florida doctor operated on his cranium, making two left and right incisions in his brain to relieve some of the blood that was in there. After two separate procedures within a week, he was in Naples and my family was flying down there in weekly shifts. Four brothers and sisters and me. My parents are snowbirds there. After a few weeks, we wanted to get him back to Boston, where his doctor is at Mass General. He couldn't fly because of the pressure, so I saw the ad for ACC Medlink. I'm a veteran, my father is a veteran, this company is veteran owned, which motivated me to call. From the first moment we got on board the ambulance, he received nothing but very good care and service. The care was exceptional. Anything that he needed, was there. We had to stop a few times because my father was so drugged up and out of it, he actually pulled his feeding tube out. The driver pulled over to the side of the road, and the nurse took care of him and everything. If I had to do it again, I would use ACC Medlink. The crew of three were all exceptional people. The Italian from New Jersey, the gentleman from Fort Myers, and the nurse were all my angels. Down in Florida, the staff was saying my Dad needed hospice, but up here in Boston, he's making a full recovery.
