Moving my father from independent living in one state to skilled nursing in another was a major activity in its own. ACC MedLink made a 900 mile trip achievable overnight, minimizing the stress on my father and allowed us to focus on moving his belongings. In COVID, the timing of the move had to be last minute (after negative test-result) and coordinated for my father and furniture to arrive together (in a 12 hour time frame).

ACC MedLink was exceptional to work with when we had to move the date of pick-up as soon as test results were received. The van staff were friendly and capable to make my father feel at ease during a stressful time for him leaving his home of 30+ years.

The only suggestion for ACC MedLink is to have alternative Van layout to offer fewer bed positions and better "Captain Chair" options. It may have been the specific van we were assigned but was disappointed that the area had at least two cots and only one chair that was "aged" (seat belt did not function and had to be retrofit). Better environment for those who are not restricted to a stretcher but would enjoy sitting and looking out the windows on a long journey.
