bad information about damaged goods
Got a good deal on a new in box last years grill. On the day of delivery they called me and told me it had a scratch on it. Offered to deliver and repair or replace. What do I want to do? I said can you give me more information on the scratch? Guy said he didn't have any more info. Asked him to get more information. He said he would and would try and get pictures and call me back. He called me back and said it had a scratch "on a door" . That isn't really enough information. I asked what door as there are 5 or so on the grill. He didn't know, and couldn't get me more information, and he wasn't willing to get more information because he was leaving in 10 minutes (1:30 P.M). So I was kind of forced into a do you want it or not situation without any information as to the size nature or location of a scratch on my new in box grill. That gives them a poor rating.
Seemed like an easy and necessary request with a very substandard answer.
