Worse service I've ever encountered!
Appliances are appliances. All the stores sell the same appliances. The only differences are location and service. On the latter, Big George's is a huge disappointment.
We purchased a wall oven/microwave unit in 2016, with extended warranty. 5 weeks ago, the microwave stopped working. We called. It took a week for a serviceman to come, and they wanted 5 hour windows for their arrival. We are a working couple with 4 kids - 5 hour windows during the work week is nearly impossible. Anyway, after all that, they came and decided that they didn't have the part. It took a week to get the part, and another week to schedule a return visit. At that point, the serviceman who came again determined that he needs another part. Another week+ to obtain the part, and we're still waiting. I went to Meijer's and bought a countertop microwave.
I called Big George's customer service, left voice mails - no return call. I emailed their customer service - no reply.
We like the appliances we got at Big George's. But they don't make the appliances. It's just a showroom and service people. It's a complete F - FAIL. I recommend that you look elsewhere.
I rarely write negative reviews. This one is special - I'm trying to protect you from a big mistake. If the appliance works, great. But if you need service, you won't get it.
