I went in to VIP Auto in Rockland, Maine for an Inspection sticker and to have two license plate light bulbs replaced on Wednesday 28, 2019 because my dealer could not fit me in. One of the mechanics broke the plate light assembly but did not come right in to tell me or anyone else that she had done so. I filmed her trying to put the broken assembly in over and over, without success. Finally 70 minutes later I told the floor people she needed help. The manager Joe went out and after 10 more minutes of trying to put the assembly back into the trunk hood Joe came back in and said "He" broke it. iI was clear to me that the mechanic had broken it because I saw it pop out of the trunk hood at high velocity and hit the floor! If she had managed to get the broken assembly back in I'm sure I would never have been informed about it.

The manager Joe then told me they'd glue it together for the moment and he'd order a replacement part. He then told me it would be in on Thursday 9/29 or Friday 9/30 and he would call me and set an appointment for me to replace the assembly. As of today Wednesday 9/3/19 I have not heard from him. I went in yesterday, Tuesday 9/3/19, to inquire about it and got the run around from a desk clerk, old person, short, glasses, and extremely unhelpful: he wouldn't even look for the order in their computer. I gave up and today am writing this review. But I'm not through with this issue and will escalate my issue to Maine Attorney General's Division of Consumer Affairs, Better Business Bureau, VIP Auto upper management and the owner of VIP, Quirk Auto, the Rockland Chamber of Commerce, local newspapers, and local television consumer affairs reporters, This is not over, by any means.
