Called for small shower faucet leak. Their plumber came out and wrestled a great deal to remove cap over valve, saying he was afraid he might break valve. He then told me he needed to cut off cap with saw and sent me out to buy replacement bonnet cap. When I returned 20 minutes later, he told me, “I’ve got some bad news: the valve broke.” He confirmed that it was broken by telling me that there was water spraying everywhere when he turned water back on.
Replacing valve and entire shower system is expensive and this was entirely the plumber’s mistake.
I called Hutzel this morning to talk to someone about the mistake their plumber made and was connected with someone who absolutely refused to budge on billing or acknowledge any wrong doing on the part of their plumber. It was an unpleasant, and incredibly immature conversation to say the least.
I see now, in many other reviews, that several other people have had similar experiences.
Spare yourself the pain and DO NOT HIRE HUTZEL FOR ANY PLUMBING!
