The problems I had with Debbie R

I had an appointment with her at 4 o’clock when I got done work when I got to the store early I was told she had left for the day because the electric went off I understood my appointment to be a confirmed appointment but apparently she didn’t think so because she didn’t call and say she had left but she did come back eventually I made an appointment with her to come to my home a few days later when she came out I signed for the vinyl flooring and paid her $2,500 for materials with a balance due of $3,011.41 due on completion A day or so later I called the store to ask some questions no one could answer my questions. I was told Debbie did not want to be bothered on her vacation and I would have to wait until she came back Debbie told me that she had a special person she was going to send out to put the floor down and she decided she wanted to charge me another $75 to have them move three pieces of furniture no other companies charge for moving furniture she said to me the $75 is for the guys When I questioned someone else at the store they said they only had one guy laying the floor I live in an apartment like condo where there’s a hallway to go out this person left the door open all day my neighbors got upset and told him he had to close the door because of bugs the door was broken while he was here he broke a door knob when he left there were two pieces of molding that he did not put down it looked terrible when I contacted Debbie about it she said oh he caulked it I didn’t hear from her again she knew I didn’t like the caulking so I decided to dispute the rest of the charges she kept telling me guys would be out leading me to think that there would be a couple of guys out to do the floor and all along they only have one guy to do it I left this person $80 because I didn’t have the correct change Debbie called me all mad about me disputing the charge she said to me I will come out and look at it and you will give me a personal check I told her she had to go through the dispute she brought someone named Eric with her they got a hold of two pieces of molding and glued them down I told them that I had called Mannington and asked about the proper type of molding I needed for the places they didn’t put it in Eric said to me very rudely that I was fixated with Mannington which I was not I just wanted the work done professionally I paid a big professional price and expected a professional job at this time Debbie refuses to answer the dispute they call me they threaten me with collection they tried to get me to sign papers saying the work is complete they need to follow the dispute I don’t know what the problem is or the hesitation because they would have the balance in 3 to 5 business days instead of to be constantly harassing me at my place of employment I feel I was in within my rights because Debbie told me so many different things and none of them were right I am very disappointed in abbey carpets and it’s too bad they can’t act in a professional manner I am in no way trying not to pay the balance I feel I was owed a professional job and I didn’t get one as I was promised I would buy Debbie
