Every staff is in defensive mode. They are rude. Unprofessional. They seem burnt out. There is just an evil feel to that whole hospital. They talk bad about you, right in front of you. This nurse basically said to another nurse, that I may be lying about something so do a test just in case. (Bih! Im right here!)They forgot about me, I am wheelchair bound and incontinent, and they left me in a room for hours with curtains drawn. I soiled my pants. The call button was too far for me to reach. I can't walk to it because I can't walk. They started off saying I will need surgery, but as soon as the vascular surgeon came to meet me, and I mentioned that I was a veteran and that the veteran doctor told me to come to the nearest ER, all of a sudden he said, oh you can wait. Follow up with ur vascular team! The attitude towards the emergency for my "blocked peripheral artery" became non emergent as soon as i mentioned i was a Vet. Hmm
So i asked, so what should i do for a swollen foot that is turning purple and my toenails going blue. They gave me a pamphlet for going on a walking therapy program (remember I said I was in a wheelchair. I'm paralyzed- helloooo). And the kicker, my blood pressure was taken at discharged. After being there for 7 hours. It was supposed to be taken as soon as you get in. But the machine didnt work on me and they never rechecked. But my BP was 160/90, hr, at sitting, 119 with a purple right foot. "So I'm good to home?" Yes.
I told my kids that if I die before I get help from another place to sue EVERYBODY. Especially, that rude surgeon. I made them promise me or I will find a way to spank them from the afterlife.
