Don't let your family member die here
I am one of the people that would give negative reviews if I could. We have had so many times where we were unfortunately directed to Shady Grove because the ambulance said it was closest and had availability in the emergency room and on one occasion my mother vomited while lying on her back unattended and aspirated the vomit and ended up in sepsis and nearly died. To make matters worse, in the ICU there is a psycho of doctors and nurses that are in some cases quite kind and caring and competent but in most cases completely indifferent maybe because they are hardened to seeing so much sickness and death. Unfortunately that means that patients are not treated as individuals, only as bodies, and you will not get good care for them and they are likely to die or at least be shoved out of the hospital to die somewhere else as other reviewers have mentioned. If you can possibly help it, do not allow your family to be taken to this $@!#% hole unless you don't care what happens to them
