My dad was taken hear and went through a cardiac arrest. A nurse Tammy at the ER told him to be quiet in his delirium state prior to his cardiac arrest. She was frustrated she couldn’t get an ivy and told him if he didn’t be quite she will leave the room. She was asking for water in his delirious state as he was going through a shock. My mother was distraught and told her he was not himself and it wasn’t hisfault. She did end up leaving the room. Poor bedside manners for a patient in critical need she should be fired for not the just obvious ineptness at her job but for the lack of compassion. This was followed by a Physician by the name of Dr. Hertig that transferred him to another hospital without speaking the family. When I called her to ask why he was being transferred and why he couldn’t be transferred to Hopkins where his medical records were. She proceeded to get angry and told me she wasn’t going to do anything about it since she had been there from earlier that morning and she needed to get home since it was 10:30 pm. she told me she was not going to do anything else and she wa done and if I wanted I could transfer him from the other hospital to Hopkins. Dr. hertig and this nurse Tammy are everything that is broken with this system and shouldn’t be practicing if they have poor bedside manners. I too have been trained as a physician and this is not the type of people that should be practicing. My father did pass away two days after. I would never recommend this hospital “shady grave”
