Less than 1 Star?
Firstly, let me say that Heartland is the only designated vision provider on our insurance. With that being said, I made an appointment using their online portal. How cool that they have that! I showed up for my appointment, and instead of the lady smiling and saying, "How can I help you?" she said "Do you need something?". I let her know I was there for an appointment and she said, "Here?" Uh..... yes. Guess what! Their online appointment portal apparently "doesn't work" even though I made the appointment online and received a confirmation (yes, I checked... Heartland Vision, Fort Wayne). So my take-away... 1) a little bit better people skills are needed when greeting customers, and 2) if you're going to offer an online portal for appointments, make sure it works. I'd rather go ANYWHERE else and take the hit on insurance than to ever go back there. No. no. no. Wish I could rate at less than 1 star.
