As a person that works with both aerobic and anaerobic micro organisms on a daily basis, I understood the airo stream process as soon as I read about it. I ordered the unit with complete confidence. Suffice to say that it worked better and quicker than I imagined. It has been 6 weeks since installation and there is no more black ponding or sewer smell on the field. We send 200 gallons of sewage down 300 lineal feet of 4 inch perforated field pipe. It has not quit raining and snowing since we installed the unit so the field is completely saturated. It accepts the 200 gallons per day under these extreme conditions.

Before installing the unit we were getting sewer gas back up when draining a bath tub. I was envisioning a winter of sewer issues and then a 20,000.00 field rebuild with the accompanying yard mess in the spring. I now feel quite confident that the 2000 dollars spent on the unit will be all that is needed. Our system is 24 years old. I am quite confident that it will last another 24. It should be noted that these dollar numbers are 34% higher than u.s. dollars.

If the system lasts our savings will be astronomical. 18 thousand net savings that would require an additional 9000 dollars of tax to be paid as none of this can be wrote off in Canada. Whether you borrow the money or take it out of investment, a 5% cost would be a reasonable calculation. Bulding a new field at 27000.00 earned income cost and 5% finance cost over another 24 years comes to about 56 thousand dollars in saving.

We live in a small valley on top of a small mountain. The valley is extremely acoustical and so the units sound level was not acceptable. We quickly and cheaply and completely mitigated that with a 4 cubic ft. secondary shroud over the unit and another 8 cubic tertiary wood shroud over that one.
