Ecstatic to say the least....

September of 2021, I was greeted with septic aroma, not only in my yard but in my bottom playroom. We had noticed that the toilets were having a problem flushing but I had hope it was just an air lock of sorts. Wishful thinking. November 2021 there was a large puddle above the tank and a 4x9ft swamp on my land. Followed the standard procedure and called a chap over to check the system. After a couple of holes and 30 mins later, he shook his head and simply stated that I need a new septic system and charged me $600. Contacted an engineer to assess the situation as I needed their plans to apply for a permit. They charged me $1800 and received a permit for an additional $900. Everyone wants their pathetic pound of flesh. Sickening.
Since we were heading into winter I was told it would be done the following spring. May of 2022 I had the tank pumped which helped for about 3 weeks until the puddled above the tank reappeared and the swamp on my lawn was bubbling and seemed to get worse. When I found out how they were about to uglify my beautiful 1.5 acre corner lot I procrastinated as to enjoy my property thru the summer one last time including the smell. As I was about to go ahead with it, my neighbour came over to tell me to check this site out as he knew someone else that cured his septic problems with the Aero-Stream system. I'm not a gambler but I like the odds. The new septic system was estimated at $30K plus $2.5K for an additional pump, $1.8K for a mandatory alarm system and $2K for the electrician. I would also be left with not only a mess that would require new sods but a hill 50 foot long and 2.5 foot high down the middle of my property. That comes to over $41K tax in plus the cost of landscaping. So paying a couple of grand on this system... I played the odds.
September 2022 I called and was somewhat shocked that all I received was information and NO HARD SALE. Took another couple of days looking into this system and decided to pull the plug. Delivery was in 3 days and that was fast as I live in Ottawa Canada. Early September I had the tank pumped, waited a few days to fill up halfway and installed the new system. Took all of 30 mins which was a nice surprise. Now I am not kidding, within a week the smell was gone, both in the yard and in the playroom and has never returned. It's been approx. 3 months and the swamp is now dry and roughly 2ft x 3ft as grass is slowly growing back in. Toilets flushing without any problems. As winter is around the corner I will have to wait till spring to do a final analysis but I can tell you that I am thrilled so far. Like my neighbours, my septic system is 35 yrs old so when I say my neighbours were also thrilled, I'm not kidding.
One last note.... these chaps are the real deal, helpful, polite, no pressure sales and they follow up to see how the system is working, ready to help if any problems arise. I wish I had known about this system before I wasted $3.3K on these other bozos. Special thanks to both Bob and Dave. These chaps are great.......
