Our system is comprised of a septic tank with two large dry wells (both 6 feet deep). Our dry wells were no longer draining; requiring us to pump them out about every five months. They had essentially become holding tanks! Depending on the volume pumped we were spending $350-$500 each time.
When I read the information on the Aero-Stream website I had a bit of skepticism, but my wife and I figured we had little to lose - especially with the money back guarantee.

After discussing options with the Aero-Stream technicians, we decided to install our unit (Remediator Typical Household) into the second dry well. At the time we installed the unit, the fluid in the dry wells was 4 ft. 3.5 in. We were anxious to check the progress but wanted to give it some time, so we waited one month.

The results were amazing - in fact I measured twice because it was hard to believe. The fluid level in Tank 1 measured 2 ft. 10 in.! the next day I measured the tank with the installed unit (Tank 2) and it was 2 ft. 5 in.! The tank levels had dropped almost 2 feet.

It is still early in the process, but we are delighted. We had been pumping for the past year and a half, trying chemicals, etc. and were clearly losing the battle. I had already priced replacing the dry wells and that was going to be $3000 - $5000. Clearly this was a terrific investment that has already nearly paid for itself.

By the way, we purchased one of the refurbished units and it sure looked like a brand new unit!
