This is the best blender I have ever owned!! I used to have a Vitamix blender and lost it in a divorce. I really needed another after going through one or two a year. I had a very old cat that needed homemade food. I cooked chicken, vege's and brown rice and had to blend it for her. This blender handled it perfectly. I now use if for myself eating better raw food smoothies. I love this three pony blender!!!
