I just wanted to share my experience this past week while visiting Bar Harbor, ME, Pedego, run by Anne Watson. My plans were to rent two bikes and ride the Acadia park loop road with my girlfriend. I had spoken to John one of the employees there earlier in the week to prepare for the trip and he laid to rest any reservations and concerns. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but super passionate about these bikes!

In bar harbor there is a small island that is only accessible when the tide is low that leads you to bar island. My plan was to get up early and explore that via your ridge rider pedego and get some incredible sunrise shots...The only challenge is you need to be up and there by 6:00 AM! I had connected with John and without hesitation he OFFERED to meet me at 6 AM! Only when I met him that morning did I find out that he had to drive 45 min to get to the shop! In the dark he set me up, locked up another bike for my girlfriend who was joining later, and gave me the primer I needed to go have incredible fun!

I was floored by his eagerness and willingness to open up the shop for me! It is refreshing to know there are still companies out there that will go above and beyond anyone's wildest expectations for service. I hope this message can get back to John as an example of how good people and great service can go a long way. I was not in the market to purchase an ebike as it is a bit out of my price range, but I will be working hard, changing some priorities, and save up to purchase one hopefully next summer! This is all because of John's passion, expertise and willingness to provide exceptional service.
