Unreliable, Untrustworthy, Terrible Communication, Misleading

I placed an order on October 30th. Got a confirmation email and my credit card was charged immediately. No tracking in the next few days so I go check on my order status on the website. The order will not come up. Try to find a phone # to call. None is available, but this is for the benefit of the consumer to save me money by them not spending the outrageous cost of a call center. Thank you for that! They have a chat feature though. So I chat, come to find out the origianl vendor did not have stock. No email letting me know this, No order status update on the website(but this is cause its a new system they tell me and they are having issues. Must be another cost saving tool for my benefit not to hire techs to fix issues). They tell me they will find another vendor and get it out to me. So I follow up on Monday 11/5. I am told it is shipping out and I will have tracking this week. Again no email or any communitcation. I wait until Thursday 11/8 and get back on the site to check my order status. Still not working. No order update comes up so back to chat it is. Oh yeah sorry they will not ship out until 12/4 now. You told me they already shipped and I would be getting tracking # emailed to me this week. Now its 12/4. Agian no email or any communication letting me know. Oh if i want a refund (YES I WANT A REFUND) it will take 24-48 to process that. OH and they will email me a cancellation confirmation. I am not holding my breath for that. I will be following up in 48 hours for my refund. Total joke and no accoutablility. Hide behind "That is the way the system works" JOKE

We agree that the customer had a bad experience in terms of our lack of communication. In reviewing the history of this order, it appears our fulfillment team found that our inventory was depleted and then went out to two different vendors to try and get the part. All along, the customer should have been sent automated notifications and they were not. That is definitely our mistake. There was never a case or attempt of us misleading the customer. I have reviewed every chat transcript for this and our chat staff checked our order system and were honestly relaying what was in the order history. We regret the experience our customer faced and always strive to learn from these and improve our systems and service.
