We think this company is most likely great for local moving, but would not recommend them for a long distance move. Our move was from RI to FL of a sparsely furnished 2 bedroom apartment. Getting a quote and securing a pick up date was a breeze and we were optimistic that the entire move would be that way. Communication by the driver on pick up day was good. He arrived with a Budget truck and local help, which turned out to be one young man who pretty much moved everything alone....until my husband arrived to pitch in. I had to ask them to wrap the furniture, which I had already covered in plastic. No listing of the items, labeling of the items or paperwork was provided. Hurricane Dorian delayed the shipment to FL. Several inquiries after the storm had passed went unanswered. The delivery date was changed once, then delayed 2 more days due to payment issues for the drivers. Since we were anticipating a weekend delivery, I reached out repeatedly for payment details prior to the weekend. None were provided until Saturday morning. After immediate wiring of the funds to their account , we were delayed until Monday. The drivers were unresponsive, as was the company to my inquires on the evening prior to the actual delivery. Moving is stressful, moving long distance with this company only added to the stress.
