THE WORST MOVERS

WORST MOVERS DO NOT USE BEWARE*******. It's going to be a long one.
I moved from Chelsea, MA to Philadephia, PA. a 5 hour drive. We hired these movers, who picked up on 8/30 with delivery window of 9/1 - 9/8 but we were assured 9/1 would be the date. Fast forward to 8/31 when I was suppose to hear from dispatch on what time they were coming 9/1. At 1pm I didn't hear from them, so I called. Left a message. By 4pm still no word. I called again (both phone numbers that are available), no answer but I received a text from them saying that I can text them my question. I text my question. Fast forward to 8pm AT NIGHT. I FINALLY receive a text back saying my furniture is delayed to due to the impending Hurricane that is hitting the Carolinas. I was shocked as they drove right past Pennsylvania to get to South Carolina but did not drop off my stuff? No one will pick up the phone or even have the courtesy to call me and I called a million times and emailed (no responses to email either) I receive another text that night assuring me that I will receive my items within my delivery timeline. Fast forward to Tuesday 9/3. I call the office. Someone picks up finally and says "hello" I was taken aback, did I call the right number? I asked if this was Monster Movers and I the reply I received was "yes" I inquired about what was going on with my things due to the hurricane and I get "Well, we will email you with an update" and then hangs up. Update never came. Hurricane didn't hit the Carolinas until late Wednesday early Thursday. Needless to say, they had time to get my things to me prior to the storm. I call Friday, mailbox full. I email, no answer. I text, no answer. Saturday morning happens and I get one random text "Sorry, driver got in at 2am, will you be able to confirm you will be around at 10am" I asked them to call me. They didn't. I sent them a message via email and text (since texting is the only way they are responding, very professional I might add) I informed them if I didn't not hear back from them by end of day 9/7 and I did not receive my things by Sunday, the last contracted day of delivery I will be filing a police report for theft. NO ANSWER. We are now at Sunday 9/8 and I have left multiple message (mailbox works again) and have sent many texts. NO ANSWER. I will be going to the police department tomorrow. I have moved many times in the past 9 years due to my job and this has never happened before. The lack of communication for these movers are appalling. If they would have just communicated to me what was happening I wouldn't be in limbo right now. Moving is stressful enough and these people made it 100 times worse. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR THINGS. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!!!!

UPDATE** Movers held my stuff until I paid in full. As the ONE person that was unloading my stuff was finishing, I realized that NONE OF MY FURNITURE WAS IN THERE. Casper Queen mattress, coffee table, SOFA, accent chair, rug AND 3 ADDITIONAL BOXES. THE BROUGHT ME HAVE OF MY QUEEN BEDFRAME BUT NO MATTRESS?!! Sarah is the WORST PERSON. SHE IS DECEITFUL AND SO UNPROFESSIONAL. NEVER CALLED ME ONCE BUT CONTINUED TO MESSAGE ME INSTEAD SAYING THAT THEY NEVER PICKED UP MY MISSING ITEM AND THAT I WAS MISTAKEN. GOOD THING MY OLD APARTMENT BUILDING HAS A CAMERA IN TH LOADING DOCK YOU DUMB $@!#%. The driver didn't have an inventory list nor did he give me a receipt for my CASH Payment of $2600. I have been contacted by other people who have used their services. Monster MOVERS SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.
