I had been in contact with James and the staff at Five Points and what was different about them is the fact that they just didn't want my money upfront. They actually did contact the IRS on my behalf like they said they would and figured out everything that was going on with my debt and what needed to be done. The best part is that they didn't charge me anything for that! So I could've walked away at that point and wouldn't owe them anything, but I am sure glad I didn't! The California franchise tax board claimed I owed them over fifty one thousand dollars for two years alone! Five Points filed 3 returns and after 5 years of tax debt with California, I didn't owe them anything and it turned out that they owed me the money they had been garnishing from my paycheck. It took the state 4 months but I got my garnishment refund check in the mail for four-thousand six-hundred and ninety-nine dollars and forty cents! I couldn't believe my eyes! James had told me but I thought it was too good to be true! Now the state isn't garnishing my eleven dollar an hour check anymore (thanks to Five Points), and from now on I will actually get my refunds when I file! James is currently working on my offer-in-compromise with the IRS! I can't wait. The best part of all this, is every other company I spoke to, charged me anywhere from thirty-five hundred to five thousand dollars and they wanted fifty percent down payment up front. Five Points charged me a lot less, my down payment was a couple hundred dollars, and they gave me a 10 month payment plan, something I can actually afford! They are almost done with my case and I am still paying them!!! I am so thankful to them and there great staff. I have been to their office a couple of times because I am only about an hour away and ALL of them are so nice! Thanks again Five Points!
