I moved my parents here from Texas 3 years ago to be closer to me, and they were transferring assisted living facilities in the process. I was looking for a place with a similar physical arrangement to their place in Texas, so that was a big part of my decision.

Over the 3 years my mother has been moved to a nursing home and my father has stayed here. The staff have been very helpful in the transition for him, considering they have been married for 67 years.

Overall the staff is very helpful. In recommending someone, it definitely depends on your needs but to me the staff is one of the biggest reasons to feel comfortable leaving loved ones in a new place. It is a nice facility but the staff are the best part to me. Price wise, they are a little more expensive than other places but they are in the same ballpark.
