Ive never taken the time to complain about service online but after my terrible experience with Dick Van Dyke in Bloomington Illinois, I will spend a considerable amount of time warning others about their terrible customer service. Today was the 4th attempt in 2 months to fix my washer. Once again I was told GE sent the wrong parts. After being told 4 times it’s a parts issue I don’t believe it!! I’ve not had a working washer in 2 months and have called customer service 4 times complaining about the technician that can’t seem to fix my washer and no manager will call me back to discuss. I’ve even requested a senior technician and got told no on that request as well. All the commercials and sales people talk about this awesome warranty but I’m here to tell you that it’s been 2 months and 4 appointments to attempt to fix my washer and not one person at Dick Van Dyke has done anything to get me a working washer. No manager involvement whatsoever! This should not be acceptable and I’ve decided to not accept the terrible service. I was patient at first but at this point there is no confidence that my washer will get fixed anytime soon so while I am dragging my laundry for my household to wash somewhere else, I plan to flood all social media with my terrible experience so other don’t have to go through what I have had to. My next post will go out to the 15,000 neighbors on the Nextdoor Neighbor App in our town tomorrow if I’ve not been contacted by the end of the day with a plan to ensure I have a working washer ASAP. I would have loved to share a positive experience or how someone went above and beyond to help me but that has not been the case. To anyone at Dick Van Dyke, read my file and all that I’ve been through with the 4 visits and make this right.
