Our dishwasher went out in mid-June. I called them to see about a repair. We bought a washer-dryer set in 2014 and have had 0 issues. We bought our dishwasher from another provider in 2020.
The first technician came out and said it was the drain motor. We had an extended warranty and ordered part. A second technician came out on 7/5 and said it was the washer motor and would order part. Service team offered us 20% discount due to mix-up and having wrong part that could not be exchanged.
Called on 7/22 for status and part was never ordered.
Finally on 7/27 received a voicemail that could fix on 8/6. Literally called back to setup appt and was told had to wait for 8/9.
Technician came out on 8/9 with correct part, but then also said we needed a new gasket in order to complete repair.
Technician called today 8/10 and said Samsung has discontinued part and it would be another $200.
Should also add that we went into the store to see about purchasing a new dishwasher and sales rep on floor was completely rude. When my husband and I mentioned Best Buy had a model in stock that they had a 6-month lead time, he laughed as we exited the building and said “Good luck at Best Buy.”
Will never do business with this company again—local or not. Terrible experience.
