Resolution to obtain GE parts for delivery of damaged refrigerator
Purchased GE refrigerator from Dick Van Dyke (DVD) on May 12,2018. Was delivered on May 14, 2018. Technician observed a dent on the left side door. DVD ordered a replacement door. Replacement door was delivered around 4 weeks later. Technician was unable to install replacement door due to damaged seal. DVD ordered a 2nd replacement door on June 20, 2018.
Have had many phone call discussions with DVD regarding the 2nd replacement refrigerator door.
DVD has notified me that I have to directly deal with GE. DVD cannot resolve this defective purchase that I made with them on May 12, 2018.
I have a contract with DVD in the state of Illinois. They have a contract with GE. This is absolutely fraud on DVD's part on my behalf as a customer.
Please advise course for resolution of this matter.
