Not happy.

I purchased a speed queen washer and dryer. salesperson said it was a heavy duty machine that would last forever. WRONG. After 5 years the transmission went out. They put a new transmission in but the labor charges were as much as the part. The repair person made three trips to our house and always came at the dinner hour which was very irritating. I'm not even sure if this was a new machine they sold me. I'll never buy anything from this store again!

I apologize that you are experiencing this trouble with your washer. I can assure you that every machine that we sell is a brand new unit from the manufacture. We do not sell used appliances. Repairing a transmission is an extensive job to be done by our certified technician. Therefore, that is reflected in the pricing of the labor to fix the transmission. Our technicians work until they are finished with their day and sometimes there are difficulties at the call prior to yours which may set him back later in his day and other calls he has.
