Dent on refiigerator

I was very happy with Dick Van Dyke Appliance World until my contractor, I am remodeling my kitchen, was installing the refrigerator that I purchased and found a small dent in the freezer door that was covered in plastic and also had a paper sign giving the dimensions of the refrigerator with and without the doors taped over the dent. When I called to let Dick Van Dyke World know about the dent I was told that the appliances were delivered on 01-Feb-2017 and it was now 22-Mar-2017 which is 50 days and they would only cover any damage up to 30 days. Especially since the appliances were unloaded into an construction area. I understand the 30 day limit, but the door was covered in plastic that was shriveling all over and there was a sign taped over the dent. Also it was not a construction area it was my garage. The refrigerator just sat in my garage until they went to install it. My complete order was not delivered until 13-Feb-2017 which is 37 days. I think that I should receive some consideration for paying up front, weeks before my appliances were delivered and being honest.

I apologize that you are not satisfied with the delivery of your new appliances. The refrigerator was delivered on February 1, 2017. We did not receive a call from you until March 22, 2017 stating that there is a dent on the refrigerator door. I do apologize, but our delivery and installation on the appliances is only warranted for 30 days. The paperwork was also signed of that there was no damage to any of the appliances. It has sat in your garage for quite some time while your home was under construction. I do know the service department directed you to try and call the manufacture to see if they would be willing to provide you with a new door. However, I will call them on your behalf and see if they are able to help get a dent free door for you. Once I receive a response from them I will call you to let you know the outcome. I do apologize for this misunderstanding and hope to reason with the manufacture for a new door for you.
