Dent on refiigerator
I was very happy with Dick Van Dyke Appliance World until my contractor, I am remodeling my kitchen, was installing the refrigerator that I purchased and found a small dent in the freezer door that was covered in plastic and also had a paper sign giving the dimensions of the refrigerator with and without the doors taped over the dent. When I called to let Dick Van Dyke World know about the dent I was told that the appliances were delivered on 01-Feb-2017 and it was now 22-Mar-2017 which is 50 days and they would only cover any damage up to 30 days. Especially since the appliances were unloaded into an construction area. I understand the 30 day limit, but the door was covered in plastic that was shriveling all over and there was a sign taped over the dent. Also it was not a construction area it was my garage. The refrigerator just sat in my garage until they went to install it. My complete order was not delivered until 13-Feb-2017 which is 37 days. I think that I should receive some consideration for paying up front, weeks before my appliances were delivered and being honest.
