I live in a moderately sized (1,440 sq.ft.) ranch style home (slab lot) and was charged $750 to have my pipe unclogged... no digging, no draining, less than 2 hrs of work done; nothing but my toilet removed, a camera and line snaked through my pipe for a temporary removal of “some supposed” grass/roots from my pipe.

While the service personnel was amicable I believe this was a situation of price gouging for this service because I had no other options due to it being the day before a major holiday and my situation was an emergency since my entire pipe system (only one system) was starting to overflow.
