Originally we started working with the kitchen company our builder recommended. They weren't listening to us or offering solutions to meet our needs. After too many sets of proposals that simply didn't work we went to another company. The second company took 6 weeks to get a plan back to us and then it wasn't from the person we dealt with but from an underling that was "given a shot at it". Totally wrong. Then on the advice our our interior designer, we contacted Mever's Kitchens. Chris listened, offered solutions and was quick to get us a quote. Originally we almost went back to the original company because of pressure from the builder and the chance to save a few dollars. Chris simply told us to know what we were buying before deciding. And for what was maybe a couple thousand dollars more, we listened and got a much, much better product. Solid wood frames (compared to cheaper MDF), inset doors (in lieu of doors that sat on the face of the box), drawer glides and decorative cabinet feet, color options, etc.. In the end, even our builder said we got a much better product that more that covered the price difference. We were glad we listened and went with quality over saving a few bucks at the expense of.
