Following a complete gutting of our Kiawah villa, we chose Mevers Kitchen and Design to redesign and renovate the kitchen area. Chris Mevers worked closely with us by creating an entirely new layout including a 5-foot peninsula for countertop space, pull up seating, and additional storage. This was a unique design for our Seascape villa. The cabinetry including a pantry is finished in two different maple finishes: Antique White with Espresso glaze and Allspice with Black Accent. The contrast is stunning. The redesigned kitchen opens into a vaulted ceiling living space which offers a lovely footprint for entertaining looking out to a private screened porch. Seven years ago, Mevers also totally redesigned the kitchen in our Sparrow Pond cottage on Kiawah. The results were equally as excellent and we still receive many comments on what an extraordinary job Mevers has done. We could not be more satisfied with both projects. Mevers has our highest recommendation for first class work from start to finish.
