A friend told us the hardware is the jewelry of the kitchen. It completes "the ensemble". We knew San Diego Hardware from its days downtown, as a full product hardware store. When it moved to Kearney Mesa the focus moved to kitchen, bathroom, and ancillary (vent and register covers, mailboxes, house numbers) hardware. The vast number of samples can make this task seem daunting. The salesperson we worked with, Dori, was extremely knowledgeable and offered many suggestions and thoughts on the hardware choices in which we were interested. Expecting this to be a challenging experience was completely wrong. Dori made it pleasant, rather easy and simple.
