Harvey West Plumbing provided service for a rental property of mine and it was a bit disappointing. I have a tenant there who contacted Harvey to come out. The tenant said it would be a $40 service fee and that they would call me once the work was done. I wasn't sure what the issue was, but the tenant believed that the dishwasher was leaking. So the technician got there, did a visual diagnostic of the dishwasher and said that it would cost $350 plus whatever it took to do the repairs. Then what he did was remove the faceplate of the dishwasher only to verify it wasn't actually leaking. It was only about 15 minutes of work and in the end, he couldn't find a leak, but then still charged us the $350 fee. So basically, I was charged the same amount as if he had fixed the leak but he did not have to fix the leak at all. In my opinion, the value of their service is questionable.
