After having my truck worked on by another mechanic in CA, I was aware that the job was not finished when I headed to Nevada. My truck limped it's way here, but got progressively worse on the way. I had been dealing with it's issues for over a month and, being a single woman, was not looking forward to dealing with a new mechanic or the headache of all that it would take (tow, rental, money, etc) to hopefully, finally, get my truck running properly. I found Sunset Auto on Google reviews and after reading about their awesomeness, decided they were my best option. I called Mikey and explained that another mechanic had worked on it and had some insight as to what needed to be done. He readily agreed to communicate with the previous mechanic, that, combined with their outstanding reviews, I had my truck towed to their shop. Mikey took copies of previous invoices, listened to my concerns regarding time, money, rental car, etc. He was honest with me and said he couldn't even begin to give me an estimate until they got a fuller picture of the previous work. The next day, after conferring with others, he called back and said that the only way to KNOW what was wrong and to be SURE they were the last to work on it would be to dig deep, scrutinize previous work and make certain that the job was done fully and correctly. He gave me a general estimate of $1900. I may have gasped, thought about fainting, but realized he was right. I needed this to finally be done and done right. I put my faith in Mikey and Sunset Auto and gave him the go ahead. I'll just cut to the last phone call I received from Mikey. As I held my breath, waiting to hear that they found more damage and it would cost me a lot more, Mikey explained that they went in, quickly discovered that all previous work had been done correctly, described the work that they finished up from the previous mechanic (the work I knew needed done) then he totaled up my bill as I, again, held my breath. It was $840 LESS, Yes, LESS than the original quote! I drove the truck the rest of the day and it purrs like a kitten! I could not recommend this business more! I told every cashier, clerk and person in line with me for the rest of the day about how awesome Sunset Auto is. Anybody would do well to take their vehicle to Mikey and the crew! Just awesome!

P.S. Mikey, I hope I got all the details right and did you all justice, you deserve it! Forever thankful, you made me love my truck again...
