Do not recommend Natasha Novik

Never expected to have such a negative experience when you are going through one of the HARDEST experiences. We DO NOT recommend Natasha Novik. Absolutely NO bedside manner.
My husband and I made the tough decision for our little boy because he was suffering too much. In 2015 he started having skin issues, scratching until he bled, losing hair, and his skin dry and flaky. Our main vet told us it was mites, which ended up being an incorrect diagnosis. We gave him the prescribed meds, switched his bedding, bathed him, changed his diet, switched laundry detergents - nothing changed. We were then recommended to a dermatologist who tried to help him with steroids, ointments, special shampoo, shots, and more medications. An allergy test came back showing he was allergic to pet dander, among other common things. Pet dander, he was allergic to himself.
Within seconds of seeing Natasha Novik, she very clearly stated we needed to get a second opinion, recommending ONLY the U of M and she would not assist us. When I questioned her on her recommendation she denied their affiliation. Coincidence? Take a look at the SIGN located right near the driveway entrance, and the BUSINESS CARDS right in your face at their front desk. We told her we had been to our main veterinary clinic with multiple veterinarians recommending a dermatologist. When we told her we had also seen multiple veterinarians at McKeever Dermatology, she stated she had never heard of them before. Excuse me? Doing a basic Google search McKeever is actually rated HIGHER than South Metro on Yelp AND Google reviews. NEVER HEARD of them?! What kind of Veterinarian doesn’t know about surrounding dermatology clinics?
By the time Natasha came in to see us, we had been waiting in the exam room for a little over half an hour, already paid for the service, already signed the paperwork, and had come to terms with this is truly the best for our boy. I asked Natasha, if she wasn’t going to go through with the service and was okay seeing our boy suffer more, why didn’t she just say it right away. She stated it was because there were other important patients. Really?! Who SAYS that to anyone? Of course there may be other patients in need, but you never tell someone who’s hurting that their loved one is less important.
SO DISAPPOINTED with Natasha’s level of professionalism. Even with this review, I feel like we have to PROVE that we did everything possible, PROVE we spent countless hours and money trying to find the best care and medications, and saw as many professionals to get their opinions as we could.
No one knows your fur babies better than you. I will NEVER AGAIN, let someone else think they can make that judgement for my family.
