My mind really wasn't on the house today when I left but I knew that it needed a deep cleaning after all the activity of the holidays...the house guests, all the cooking, the sprinkles from the cookie decorating. What I was thinking about was the second funeral this week I had to attend and really couldn't concentrate on much else. I left it all to Norma since she always seems to have my back. Without direction, she goes to work with her quiet entrance and makes everything right. Coming home after a tedious day, I was amazed at all she accomplished with Mariana. I felt comforted and at ease when I walked into the house at night after work to find everything in order and tidied up and so very clean. At the end of the day, everything seemed at peace and in place.
