Poor Customer Service
Our last cleaning was one of the worst cleaning experiences we have had with 5280 cleaning services. Normally they have done a good job and were very thorough. However the last two times have not been as thorough and the last time was the worst. We normally have 2 ladies that come in our home to clean and are charged per hour and per cleaning person. This last time, without our permission 5280 cleaning services brought in 4 ladies to clean our home, for their own consciences, therefore charging us the hourly cleaning rate multiplied by 4. The time spent cleaning our home was less than with 2 of the cleaning staff but we were still charged quite a bit more than we normally were charged and our home was not any more effort to clean than usual. It is frustrating that we have different people each time and never really know what’s going on and how much we will be charged. Some of the ladies do a better job than others. This last time with the 4 cleaning staff was the worst cleaning job they have done. As well one of the ladies was very sick and had a bad cough. I wasn’t sure if it was just allergies, so it might have been my fault for not interrupting, as my entire household got sick at the exact same time a few days later. It is also very sad that their staff have to come to work when they are that sick and don’t have the option to have a sick day. The other staff knew that one of their cleaning crew members were that sick but they all are just there to earn a living and get done as quickly and as carelessly as possible. When I called and spoke to Yvonne, their manager, she just told me next time to send them home and they will send out another crew. Yes, I agree, but not the most effective way to rectify the problem with a customer. With all of this being said, I will NEVER be using this company again and I will make sure to let everyone I am able to come into contact with know the same as well.
