I initially was very satisfied for many years but then I had to purchase my own insurance which was $40 per month. I went to have work done and didn’t realize there was a waiting period for benefits to be approved and was only told after the work was done that it was not covered. I assumed that should have been figured out by the staff before the work was done which should be the responsibility of the staff. So I am out almost $900.00. Then I got $8,000.00 veneers which I later found out were crowns which one of them cracked in less than 3 years. I paid over $1,300 to have it fixed and was not told I should have gone outside in the light to make sure it was the right shade. When I called to request that it be fixed I was treated very rude by a staff member and was told it would cost another $608 dollars. By this time I was so frustrated that I told them I would never come back to the practice. Dr. Bhoot agreed to fix the tooth but seemed very frustrated with me and I decided to go elsewhere. I have no bad feelings towards her but so very upset with her staff and their disregard for checking benefits and for being very rude. I have spent thousands of dollars at this practice and again Dr. Bhoot is very good but some of her staff should be gone and being told you are getting veneers versus crowns and also being told that your original teeth will not be ground down to nothing and are basically gone is very deceptive.
